The St Mary the Virgin, Addington congregation shared the Lord’s Prayer in our three national languages as well as the languages of our ethnically diverse parishioners. Our Spirit-given gifts were identified (one child identifying skin colour as their gift) and the ‘birthing’ of the Church was celebrated with cake and singing. Another child spontaneously led a second verse “May God bless you” (the Church).
