St Mary's Addington
This Sunday 21st June 5pm till 7pm
in Church Square
We will celebrate the Winter Solstice with a display of lights and provide soup, bread rolls and BBQ sausages(free). The winter solstice marks the date when the earth’s axis is furthest away from the sun-the longest night of the year. This evening will also be the opportunity to celebrate a “little bit” from all the Covid issues which we have faced together and to socialize. So please “rug up”(no one will notice if you have four jerseys on with your beanie), so come along. If weather is wet will consume food inside the church and “light up” another time. The coloured lights on display are supported by the “Thank You Charitable Trust”.
